Emma Daisy
I am a photographer and artist based in Boorloo / Perth, working largely in portraiture in both digital and analogue mediums.
I like to remain open to any types of clients including for the purposes of; documentation of art, workshops, families, weddings, musician’s promotion, artist portraits, editorial, and capturing cultural events.
My practice is historically informed and contemplative of ethical significance.
The cultural heritage sector is where I spend half my working time, as a Digitisation Photographer specialising in the capture of archival negative and reversal film. I’m constantly thinking about longevity, what will this image mean in the future, and why is it important now?
My focus is - how can I best expand my technical skills to bring visions to materiality so we can keep safe untold stories.
